William Fedkenheuer is a highly respected performer, teacher, speaker, consultant, and professional development coach. With over two decades of experience as a member of three internationally acclaimed string quartets—The Miró, Fry Street, and Borromeo Quartets—William guides artists, organizations, and professionals to hone and amplify their inspiration and impact, helping them achieve their goals with greater efficiency and consistency—while having some fun along the way.

As a soloist and chamber musician, William has graced some of the world’s most prestigious stages, from Carnegie Hall to Esterházy Castle. His performances have garnered media attention from NPR, PBS, NHK, and the Discovery Channel, as well as features in Strings and Strad magazines. A recipient of Lincoln Center’s prestigious Martin E. Segal Award and a Canadian National Fiddle Champion, William is currently the second violinist of the Miró Quartet and has appeared on numerous recordings. His collaborations and commissions have brought him together with major artists and composers across the globe, crossing musical boundaries with luminaries such as Leon Fleisher, Audra McDonald, and Jake Shimabukuro.

William maintains an active schedule as a professional development coach and consultant, drawing on twenty-five years of experience to develop highly effective strategies, principles, and tools for thriving as a musician, ensemble, or organization—whether within the arts or beyond. He focuses on helping others clarify their vision, prioritize their goals, and determine the most effective tools for success. By refining mindsets and fundamentals, he empowers his students and clients to elevate their actions and maximize the return on their investment of focus, energy, and time. His students and clients go on to craft unique careers—leading, inspiring, educating, and achieving—anchored in a deep understanding of who they are and the purpose behind their ambitions.
